2020 Annual General Meeting
The postponed Annual General Meeting of the Society will take place online by Zoom on Friday 2 October 2020. The business of the meeting will start at 7:30 pm (British Summer Time). We will be sending an email to all members for whom we have an email address with details of how to take part in this meeting. Joining instructions will also be posted on the Members Only area of this web site, nearer to the date.
If you do not receive the invitation email by Friday 25th September it probably means that we do not have your current email address. In this case please email email@example.com to notify us.
We hope that, as you will not have to travel to take part in this year’s AGM, many members who would be unable to attend in Bedford will join the meeting.
In view of the unusual circumstances this year members may still give notice of a resolution they wish to move and nominate members for the committee by email.
Any member wishing to move a resolution at the meeting must give notice by email, stating its terms, to firstname.lastname@example.org to be received by Friday 4 September 2020.
Nominations for members of the Committee may be sent by email. Emails must be sent by proposer, seconder and nominee (accepting the nomination), each giving their membership number, to email@example.com to be received by Friday 18 September 2020. Note: The Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer were elected for 3 year terms in 2018 and do not need re-election this year.
